Erickson Asphalt & Concrete recently completed a comprehensive parking lot reconstruction for Independent Lifestyles in Sauk Rapids, MN. The project focused on providing a long-term solution to the severe pavement deterioration that had developed over time, while also improving drainage and accessibility across the site.

The project encompassed a 13,900 sq ft full-depth removal and replacement, including 50 linear feet of curb replacement and minor ADA concrete corrections. The client opted for a full-depth replacement instead of a mill and overlay to ensure long-term performance and eliminate the recurring issues caused by the deteriorating base.
This approach allowed our crew to make drainage corrections throughout the lot, improving water flow and preventing standing water. Full-depth removal projects also provide an ideal opportunity to address curb and concrete repairs, reducing the likelihood of future maintenance needs.
Once paving was completed, we striped the parking lot per the client’s specifications to enhance traffic flow and accessibility. The project was completed on schedule and delivered lasting improvements in both function and appearance.

We appreciate the opportunity to partner with an organization dedicated to making a positive impact in the community. Our team takes pride in delivering high-quality asphalt solutions that help businesses and organizations like Independent Lifestyles continue to serve their communities effectively.
