Every residential project we do comes with a warranty. Below you’ll find the specific terms for asphalt driveways, driveway sealcoating, and residential concrete work. We’ve written these to be straightforward, no intentionally confusing language. We stand behind our work and aim to handle any concerns fairly and promptly.
Residential Asphalt Warranty
Erickson Asphalt Services, Inc. guarantees against failure due to defective materials or substandard workmanship for a period of five years from the installation date. The warranty does not cover failure due to ground movement, settling within five (5) feet of the foundation or damage of automobile fluids or the penetration of weeds through the pavement. If warranty work is required, Erickson Asphalt Services, Inc. is responsible for repairing the area accordance with standard industry practice which includes removing the damaged area and patching it with new asphalt or heating the damaged area and raking it back to proper condition. Erickson Asphalt Services, Inc. warranty does not require that Erickson Asphalt Services, Inc. replace an entire driveway due to pavement failure.
EXTENDED WARRANTY: If the client hires Erickson Asphalt Services, Inc. maintenance service to crack seal and sealcoat the new pavement within the first two years after pavement the warranty extends for an additional two years. If the client hires Erickson Asphalt Services, Inc. to crack seal and sealcoat the pavement within three years of the first maintenance service, the warranty is extended another two years. A third maintenance service within three years of the second maintenance service extends the warranty one year for a full ten (IO) year warranty.
Warranties do not apply to sealcoat, crack sealing, patching jobs, or infrared repairs.

Residential Concrete Warranty
Concrete will crack—whether after one day or five years—regardless of expert installation practices or high-quality materials. Erickson Asphalt and Concrete guarantees against failure due to defective materials or substandard workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the installation date. This warranty is limited to the specific area determined to be defective and does not imply the replacement or repair of the entire concrete installation. Concrete is subject to cracking due to natural environmental factors such as ground movement, freeze-thaw cycles, and subgrade shifting. Cracks less than 1/4” in displacement are not covered under this warranty, including, but not limited to, frost heaving or ground movement. This warranty does not cover any damage caused by: De-icing agents, salts, lawn fertilizers, or other chemicals, Snow plows, tire chains, or mechanical impact, Lack of rebar or fiber reinforcement (when rebar or fiber is not installed, cracking is not warrantied under any condition). Color Variation may be present due to differences in batches, pouring times, weather and curing conditions, resulting in a noticeable shade variation. Blotchiness in concrete is normal and may need 28 or more days to cure out. If warranty work is required, Erickson Asphalt and Concrete is responsible only for repairing or replacing the affected area, at our discretion, in accordance with industry standard practices. Any replacement warranty work will not match existing concrete color, shading, or finish.

Residential Sealcoating Warranty
Sealcoating protects your asphalt investment, and we back our application work with a one-year warranty from the date of service.
