Project Recap: Ridgewood Manor Asphalt Overlay – Elk River, MN
We recently completed a 2" asphalt overlay at Ridgewood Manor, a large apartment complex located in Elk River, MN. The 92,000 square foot parking lot serves the entire community and is managed by INH Property Management Inc.
Despite a few challenges caused by rain, the project was completed in just four days—two days of prep and two days of paving and striping. Our prep work included milling transitions in front of garage entrances to ensure a smooth grade and addressing some minor drainage concerns to improve long-term performance.
In total, we installed 1,200 tons of fresh asphalt. Because this is a residential complex, we approached the work in carefully planned phases to maintain constant access for tenants. We’re grateful for everyone’s patience and cooperation throughout the process—it made a big difference.
